Subprocessors

This page lists every third party ("subprocessor") that Latent Software LLC engages to process Customer Personal Data, the end-user data our customers process through LicenseSeat, as defined in our Data Processing Agreement. We update this page at least 10 business days before a new subprocessor begins processing Customer Personal Data; the updated page constitutes notice (see DPA Section 6).

Each subprocessor processes Customer Personal Data under a written data processing agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) or equivalent safeguards.
What is not on this list, and why
- Payment processors (Stripe, Gumroad, LemonSqueezy, Paddle, Shopify and similar): these process our customers' own billing data, for which LicenseSeat is a controller and the processor acts substantially as an independent controller or merchant of record. They do not process your end users' personal data on our behalf, so they are disclosed in the Privacy Policy, not here. If you connect your own payment provider to LicenseSeat via webhooks, that provider is your vendor, under your own agreement with them.
- Geolocation providers: none. IP-derived location is computed locally on our servers against on-server databases; IP addresses are never sent to any third-party geolocation service.
